We are so excited to welcome you to Long Island for our wedding. Whether you spent your childhood on here with us, your adulthood nearby raising us, or you’ll be visiting for the first time, we hope to make you feel at home.

Transportation & Accommodations

  • The Mansion at Glen Cove

    A block of hotel rooms has been reserved at The Mansion at Glen Cove for guests of the McNair Bauer Wedding from Friday, October 17th, 2025 through Sunday, October 19th, 2025.

    The hotel is a 5 minute drive from The Creek.

    Transportation will be provided to and from the venue.

    The hotel is also where Macy’s parents were married 33 years ago on October 17th, 1992 (!!!)

  • Travel Notes

    The easiest way to travel to and around Locust Valley, Glen Cove, and the surrounding towns on the North Shore of Long Island is by car.

    Uber, Lyft, and other rideshare services are limited (and at times unreliable). They are typically fine from the airport, but more challenging locally. If not driving or using transportation provided to and from the hotel, please plan accordingly.

  • Additional Accomodations

    There are many beautiful hotels in NYC and around Long Island. We encourage you to stay wherever you’ll be most comfortable! Other hotels near the venue on Long Island we’d recommend are the Hilton Garden Inn Roslyn & the Hampton Inn & Suites Huntington Downtown.

    There won’t be a room block or transportation from any other accommodations. Please plan accordingly!

  • Transportation

    Long Island Railroad stations are conveniently located to The Mansion at Glen Cove. We recommend the Glen Cove and Manhasset stations.

    Train tickets and schedules are available via the MTA Traintime App.

    If you are flying from out of state, LaGuardia airport is approximately 35 minutes and JFK airport is approximately 45 minutes away by car.

    Transportation will be provided between The Mansion at Glen Cove and The Creek for the wedding.

    A Locust Valley staple. Great comfort food for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

    Macy loves a soup / salad / sandwich combo.

    Jack goes for a blackened shrimp Cesar salad. They also have great burgers.

    The Saturday omelette chef is Mr.Bauer’s favorite.

    Quaint local coffee shop that also serves as a community art gallery. Beautiful pieces displayed.

    The smell of coffee is so strong, Jack prefers to wait outside while Macy gets her morning cup.

    The best penne a la vodka on planet earth.

    Best deli sandwich you’ll ever eat but the prices live up to the name.

    Macy gets a turkey & provolone with spinach, sliced pickles and mustard.

    Jack gets chicken cutlet (dry) on a roll and a large half & half (iced tea & lemonade) that Macy drinks most of.

    Our dear friend Keyonne has a sandwich on the menu he ordered it so much in High School - it’s the Class In Session.

    Garvey’s Point Brewery is an industrial space on the water about 10 minutes drive from the hotel.

    It is a great spot for drinks and a meal! The beers are all brewed on-site and the food is delicious.

    Oyster Bay Brewing is a traditional brewery with beers and games about a 15 minute drive from the hotel.

  • Brass Rail

    Around the corner from the Million Dollar Deli, and some of our other favorites, the Brass Rail is a frequent destination for the McNairs and Bauers.

    It is actually such a common destination, that Jack and Macy went on back-to-back days with each sets of parents, seperately.

    This Locust Valley establishment was named after their wonderful antique bar. The bar was made by two German Brothers in the late 1880’s in The Bowery of New York City and was installed in a restaurant called The Brass Rail on 7th Avenue - and somehow it now sits in our small town.

    A family style restaurant in Glen Head, Heirloom Tavern is a casual, friendly, long island spot.

    We would recommend going for brunch, and it is when they usually have some good drink deals.

    A classic family spot to eat after either Mom or Dad pick us up from the train station.

    Located in the restored estate home of Hendrick Onderdonk, built 1740, in the historic village of Roslyn, Hendrick’s Tavern is comfortable, inviting and urban-style restaurant.
